How to Maintain a Healthy Gum and Dental System

Mansureh Akhavan*

As we age, our bodies undergo many changes, including changes to our oral health. It is important to take extra care of our teeth and gums as we get older to prevent dental problems and maintain good oral health. In this article, we will explore the ways in which aging affects our oral health and provide tips on how to keep our teeth and gums healthy as we age. One of the most common oral health problems that older adults face is tooth decay. This is because as we age, our teeth become more susceptible to decay due to changes in the composition of our saliva and the structure of our teeth. In addition, older adults are more likely to have gum disease, which can lead to tooth loss and other dental problems.

The Importance of Oral Health: Why it Matters more than you think

Tess Foote*

Oral health is essential to our overall health and well-being. The mouth is the gateway to our body, and anything that enters it can affect our health. Poor oral hygiene can lead to a variety of health problems, including tooth decay, gum disease, bad breath, and even heart disease. In this article, we will explore the importance of oral health and why it matters more than you think. One of the primary reasons why oral health is important is that it affects our ability to eat and speak properly. Our teeth and gums are responsible for breaking down food, and if they are not healthy, it can be difficult to eat and digest food. Tooth decay, gum disease, and other oral health problems can also cause pain and discomfort, making it difficult to speak or chew food. This can impact our self-confidence and quality of life. Research has shown a link between oral health and several chronic health conditions, including heart disease, stroke, diabetes, and respiratory disease. This is because the bacteria in our mouth can enter the bloodstream and spread to other parts of the body, leading to inflammation and other health problems.

Nanoformulations Based On Guar Gum: Implications for Enhancing Medication Delivery

Evette Radisky*

Guar gum-based nanoformulations are an emerging field of research that has attracted significant attention in recent years. Guar gum is a natural polysaccharide that is derived from the seeds of the Cyamopsis tetragonoloba plant. It has a wide range of applications, including as a food additive, thickener, and stabilizer. In recent years, researchers have been exploring the potential of guar gum as a drug delivery system, particularly in the form of nanoformulations. Nanoformulations are drug delivery systems that are designed to improve the solubility, stability, and bioavailability of drugs. They typically consist of a drug and a carrier material that is engineered to deliver the drug to its target site in the body. In the case of guar gum-based nanoformulations, guar gum is used as the carrier material.
