This article aims to explore the intricate relationship between the microbiota and human health, with a focus on the implications for biomedical and pharmaceutical science. The human microbiota is composed of diverse microbial communities, including bacteria, viruses, fungi, and archaea. The gut microbiota, in particular, is the most extensively studied and plays a vital role in human health.
